Fission is a brand new, ground-breaking plug-in that does something entirely new to audio. It allows you to split a sound into its transient and tonal parts, independently manipulate them using Eventide's world-class effects and then fuse them back together. With the ability to add effects and dynamic controls to the transient and tonal sections, you can produce a wide range of effects, from the subtle to the extreme. This video shows a track we made using 10 different instances of Eventide Fission. This is a great example of how to use the plug-in for sound design.

One of our staff writers, Headsnack, has been featured on American Music Supply's "Catch a Break" series! In this interview he breaks down why he uses Adam Audio monitors & the Moog Sub 37 Tribute on his tracks. You can also read some of Headsnack's tech gear buyer's guides right here!
Mogees analyzes vibrations you create from everyday objects and turns it into music. The more distinct the hits are, the better the software works. Use your imagination and assign the different sounds within the software to whatever sounds you desire.

Martin Molin is an inventor that designed the Wintergatan Marble Machine. It has to be seen to be believed.
Eventide has just announced a killer deal on the secret weapon of reverb, Blackhole. From now through the end of March, 2016, Blackhole can be bought for only $49! Most reverbs are earth-bound and constrained by the physics of the real world. Eventide’s Blackhole reverb breaks the rules by allowing you to create virtual spaces that could never exist in our reality. At large sizes, its soft attack and lingering, harmonic tails allow it to really shine on guitars, strings and pads. At small sizes, those very same qualities can help add an angelic sheen to vocals or turn a simple drum track into an otherworldly rhythm section.
Ableton Live version 9.6 includes Link, a technology that keeps devices in time over a wireless network. As long as you're on the same network, you can sync multiple computers with Live as well as Link-compatible iOS devices (the list of these keeps growing). Sounds pretty slick but watch Matt's video to see how fun this could be.
